This very handy and inexpensive sanitizer dispenser is an idea of our student Omkar Biradar. He is pursuing a Computer Hardware Course in the Electronics department. He was also working on his first year “Automatic Tap Water System” project to save water. During this tough time of Covid19 pandemic, he came up with an idea to use the same project to dispense sanitizer automatically. With very limited resources, he assembled the electronic circuit which has a small submarine motor, IR sensor and a transistor. The dispenser ensures minimum wastage of sanitizer by automatically dispensing only a few drops of sanitizer on both the palms.
