Vocational Education and Training Regional office, Pune celebrated International Women’s day by holding several competitions and programmes between 5th March and 11th March 2019. All the ITIs, MCVC junior colleges, Institutes conducting Certificate Courses in Pune, Satara, Sangli, Solapur and Kolhapur participated in these competitions. The event “Kaushalyasiddha” was organised and guided by Hon. Shri. Rajendra Ghume (Joint Director Vocational Education and Training Regional office, Pune) for woman empowerment and to promote and encourage various skills within girls.
The Institute participated in one of the several competitions viz.- “the KAUSHALYA PRADARSHANI – a Technical Exhibition” competition. Ten girl students displayed their projects in this exhibition at Aundh ITI. These projects included Architectural building models, Interior design models, Furniture objects, Paintings, Posters, Animated Films and Electronics projects. These projects were highly appreciated by the all the visitors. The Institute won the second prize.
